My story starts back in 2013 when things were not good in Christchurch because of the earthquakes.I was painting at the time and saw and heard many sad and very emotional people. The easiest way was to have a few drinks at night and forget about it all.Then a friend of mine had problems and committed suicide and my drinking got out of control. "It was a dark and stormy night. I was on my 5th Dark and Stormy and my 5th packet of Marlboro Red. I was reflecting on my short life and how short it may be if I did not give up the cigarettes. The end of my cigarette fell into my drink. I cried quietly to myself. I looked up and saw the silhouetted figure of a ginger beard man. "I had been an on and off smoker (mostly on) for 12 years, every now and then I would try quitting but I would always end up back on the ciggies. Then I got talked in to vaping, I wasn't sure it would work at first but after trying a few different vapes and a few different vape flavours I found the combo that works for me (vanilla custard btw). "After smoking for 30years and having tried hypnosis and patches etc so many times, I decided I will give vaping a try and OMG... I have been smoke free for 1 year on 17/8/2018.
